In an artistic context, circles hold significant symbolism and aesthetic appeal. They are a fundamental shape used in various art forms, including painting, sculpture, design, and architecture.
They occur as symbols, as natural shapes associated with cellular structure, they occur in astronomy and physics and are recognised and used across multiple cultures.
This also makes the artistic use of circles most challenging as they can fall into the category of endless cliches and easy solutions. My aim is to possibly show circles in a different way and in combination with my vision of reality and also as maps to the invisible forces which control the universe.
